What does love look like? And if this feeling could be summed up in one image, what would it be? These are questions that artists have always asked themselves and try to answer them with their hearts, their guts, their heads, their talents and their imaginations. Last example: a very nice competition open to everyone and presented by the European House of Photography. (MEP)
baptized †loeildelamour, this competition was launched on the occasion of love songs, the exhibition currently organized by the MEP on the theme of love. The idea? To involve as many people as possible in this search for love told in pictures.
“The MEP offers everyone – amateur photographers, aesthetes, poets or simple lovers of love – the opportunity to more or less instantly share an image that evokes the feeling of love. Life as a couple, portrait of the beloved, family archive, street photo, poetic moment… each image will be a new avatar of this state of which we have all been actors or witnesses.”

Everyone is invited to share the image of their choice on Instagram under the hashtag †loildelamour (before 21 August). Results ? Images in black and white, others in color, some women, other men, children or the elderly. We even find some without any sign of human presence. Love is certainly multifaceted, always with this point in common: emotion.
To be convinced of this, just take a look at these beautiful photos posted by participants.
