Mustard Shortage: Here’s an easy and natural recipe for old-fashioned mustard

The price of mustard has increased by 7.8% compared to March 2021, BFMTV reports. In question ? A decline in the mustard seed harvest, which comes mainly from Canada and France (yes! even for the famous so-called Dijon mustard), but also a decline in the harvest from year to year. Russia and Ukraine are other exporters of mustard seeds, but with the invasion of the Russian army in the Ukrainian neighboring country, imports are becoming impossible. Results ? As with sunflower oil, jars of mustard can become rare on our shelves. How to anticipate this shortage? If you’re lucky enough to have your own plants in your garden, all you need to do is follow Caroline’s old-fashioned mustard recipe from the Carolomoon YouTube channel.
