Chocolate maker Cadbury opens 100% vegan pop-up store in London

Cadbury is one of the references among milk chocolate lovers. But the well-known brand of the Mondelēz group now has a different ambition: to conquer a vegan audience. And to do it with humor, Cadbury printed negative ‘tweets’ about veganism on the packaging. A way to break the clichés about this way of life, according to the brand.

Cadbury launched its first two vegan chocolate bars in 2021. “Smooth Chocolate” and “Salted Caramel” have both swapped cow’s milk for marzipan and are currently only sold in the UK.

The lucky few who walk through the door of the London pop-up store will be offered one of these vegan tablets for free, the brand said.
