Between bewilderment and calls to action, internet users react en masse to the IPCC report

De Giec has passed his verdict and, as might be expected, it is harsh and without appeal: to hope to limit global warming to 1.5°, the world has no choice but to take immediate and drastic measures. The challenge is both simple and dizzying, as it is no more and no less than maintaining a habitable earth. Faced with this observation, the reactions on social networks are raining.

This time, the work of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change on April 4, 2022 did not go unnoticed. It must be said that we are only a few days away from the next presidential elections and that the next three years are seen as decisive by this new report. The reactions are therefore numerous. NGOs, associations, media, journalists, politicians and citizens, everyone has their say and tries to mobilize internet users around this central theme.

If the climate gets out of control for good, if we don’t work now to limit the damage, then no project will make sense on a planet that has become uninhabitable. Hence the importance of making the right choices now.
