European bakery manufacturer Baker & Baker has just released a new range of 100% vegan products. A launch aimed at meeting the continent’s growing demand for vegan products, says the company, which is headquartered in the UK. This range includes 4 products: pink donuts with strawberry flavored glaze, dark chocolate chip cookies, blueberry muffins and dark chocolate muffins. Donuts and muffins must be thawed before serving, while cookies – spread frozen – must be baked before sale. Each product has a shelf life of two to five days and is said to be “clean label” and palm oil-free, or made with palm oil from sustainable sources, according to Baker & Baker.
The brand’s first vegan range is available to bakeries, catering entrepreneurs and retailers in France and Germany. It will be rolled out in the UK in the first quarter of 2022. Baker & Baker is one of the largest manufacturers of ready-to-eat bakery products in Europe, with annual sales exceeding £400 million.
