Legend has it that the Genie bottle that serves as the focal point of the attraction was unearthed during the removal of a well in the central plaza during the Adventureland expansion.Many of the tiles embedded into the ground were taken from a small building that had to be removed when the Magic Carpets were constructed.The jewelry in the ground mimics the pieces that can be bought in the surrounding Bazaar.
