Is Fiberock good for shower walls?

What is the difference between fiberock and hardiebacker?
According to the product specs, Fiberock and Hardiebacker are completely different. Hardiebacker's composition is 90% cement and sand- making it a cement backerboard- while Fiberock is made from 80% gypsum. You can compare the MSDS (material data safety sheets) for Fiberock and regular moisture resistant drywall (i.e.greenboard) and you'll find that the compositions are almost identical. Both contain the same percentage of gypsum and gypsum can disintegrate in wet areas. Cement boards are a better option for any area that is subject to continuous moisture exposure.
What is Hardi cement board?
Just a note...the manufacturer of Hardi refers to their product specifically as "cement board." It is 90% portland cement and sand and some other secret stuff for support. I like Durock or Wonderboard inside the shower, and Hardi on the floors.
