Is "going well" correct grammar?
Technically, “going good” is incorrect grammar; you should use “going well”. The “proper” answer is Fine. or Just fine, thank you. The question is almost the same as how do you do which is a way of a greeting and doesn’t really want an honest answer, especially if things are not going well.
