Volvo becomes the first car manufacturer to offer its customers a lifetime warranty on its spare parts. Be careful though, this is not just any parts and also requires a visit to the authorized Volvo network in France.
With this warranty program, Volvo assures its customers that they can benefit from a car with the highest safety potential in the very long term, thanks to free replacement parts if necessary. The idea is both to extend the life of these vehicles and to build customer loyalty.
However, this offer is relatively limited, as these are obviously not conventional wear parts, starting with the batteries. This Lifetime Warranty nevertheless covers defects when the concerned Genuine Volvo Part has been purchased and fitted in the authorized network after January 2, 2022, upon presentation of a nominative invoice.
These parts can therefore be replaced after the manufacturer’s warranty has expired. This operation is performed for freeregardless of the car’s mileage. This one “Lifetime Warranty” will also support the associated labor.
Even though it is relatively limited, this initiative is a first of its kind.
