In its giant roadside advertisement, the mall has installed 80 wooden shelters. The latter are provided with straw so that the birds can make their nests in the winter or during the breeding period.
For the Spanish store, this is an opportunity to announce to its customers that pets are also welcome. A smart way to increase popularity while preserving biodiversity. As a reminder, nearly 600 million breeding birds have disappeared in Europe since the 1980s, a staggering drop from 17 to 19%. Alarming numbers that demonstrate the urgency to take action for these volatile birds that are so precious to the environment.
