Planted, the Swiss leader in vegan alternatives to meat, arrives in France

Planted, the Swiss leader in plant-based alternatives to meat, arrives in France. The start-up, founded in 2019, already sells its imitation meat products (“chicken”, pulled “pork”, kebab, etc.) through Migros and Coop, the two main distributors in Switzerland. They can also be found at the German brand Edeka and at Spar in Austria. The French subsidiary of Planted, launched in May 2021, so far only offers vegan alternatives for delivery, through the companies Foodcheri, Seazon, Nestor or the Popchef canteen. From now on they are on the shelves of Monoprix and Franprix stores and in the Grande Epicerie de Paris.

Planted entered the market of vegan alternatives to meat with a credo: to offer good, sustainable products, with a limited and 100% natural composition. The first flagship product, vegetable “chicken”, for example, contains only four ingredients (pea protein, pea fiber, canola oil, water and vitamin B12). The imitation meat is also free from additives, soy and GMOs and is designed and produced in Switzerland.
