In Australia, the Grill’d burger chain opens two new 100% vegan restaurants

Who said a burger can’t be healthy? Certainly not Grill’d, an Australian restaurant chain that specializes in ‘healthy’ burgers. To meet the growing demand, the brand has just launched a brand new healthy, sustainable and vegan restaurant concept called “Impossily Grill’d”. Two locations have already opened in Sydney where they will serve a vegan menu, including 23 100% plant-based options.

On site, customers can taste different types of burgers, all vegan. There will in particular be burgers with Impossible brand steaks, but also vegetable “chicken” burgers, made from plantains. Finally, Australians will discover a mushroom-based burger made by British chef Heston Blumenthal, a specialist in molecular food. The latter had in particular made himself known to the French public during his passage in the last season of top chef2021.

The two new ‘Impossily Grill’d’ restaurants are aimed at a wide audience: vegetarians, vegans or omnivores who want to do without meat. The chain will also reintroduce “Meatless Mondays” at all of its 142 Australian locations.
