The Fête de la nature is five days of free events to experience nature near you. On the occasion of this 16th edition, 7,000 free events are planned throughout France. Demonstrations are scheduled from today through Sunday, May 22.
The Fête de la nature was created in France in 2007 at the initiative of the French Committee of the IUCN and the magazine Wilderness. The aim of this event is to let everyone celebrate nature close to home with free events.
This year, this amazing party will take place in no fewer than 1,700 places, in cities and in the countryside. 7,000 free activities are planned: by consulting the program you can see what is happening in your area.
On the occasion of this 16th edition, a series of themed events have been selected: celebrate the 40th anniversary of the network of nature reserves, experience the nocturnal world or contribute to a species inventory. Walk between street art and botany, adventure in the high mountains, treasure hunts, workshops… There is something for everyone!
