Fifteen days without plastic, how about that? Discover the No plastic challenge.

Do you want to take action yourself to reduce your plastic consumption? How about participating in the No Plastic Challenge? This challenge, organized every year by the association “No Plastic In My Sea”, devotes 15 days to the fight against this form of pollution. This year it will take place from May 30 to June 15, with the main theme being the impact of plastic on our health. Mark your calendars!

Bottles, cigarette butts, surgical mask. These three objects have two things in common: they contain plastic and are usually intended for one-time use. However, single-use plastics are disastrous for the planet, especially for the oceans and the species that inhabit them.

But it also has implications for human health. It is precisely this aspect that the fifth edition of the “No Plastic Challenge” focuses on. Whether on our plates, in our clothes or in our cosmetics, microplastics find their way everywhere, meaning we inhale and ingest them regularly.

15 days to learn eco gestures

From May 30 to June 15, the No Plastic Challenge invites us to reduce our plastic consumption. Tools to assess the impact of consumption, fact sheets, advice, awareness-raising actions… The “No Plastic Challenge” is aimed at the general public, but also at companies, public institutions, sports clubs, etc. In other words, all people or entities that consume plastic (ie almost everyone).

To participate, you can first try to integrate the 15 “basic” eco gestures recommended by the association “No Plastic In My Sea” into your daily life. For example, you can swap your plastic bottle for a stainless steel water bottle, buy in bulk by bringing your own cloth bags and bags, or even replace dish soap with solid soap.

For those who want to go further in their zero plastic approach and receive the elements related to the No Plastic Challenge, all you need to do is fill in the form available on the event website.
