Climate: Banque de France asks companies to publish their environmental data

The Banque de France asks companies to publish their environmental data through the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), a non-profit organization that publishes exactly this type of data. So she joins 680 others “global financial institutions” also a signatory to this appeal.

Objective for the Banque de France: “orienting its ESG investing activities (environmental, social and governance criteria, editor’s note.) which must align its own fund and pension fund portfolios with the Paris Agreement: portfolios are aligned on a trajectory of 2°C and work is underway on a trajectory of 1.5°C”we can read in the press release, published on Wednesday 27 April.

The Banque de France is indeed committed “to approach carbon neutrality by 2030”
