rocky NCLEX journey, 75 questions, GOOD pop up!

I just want to say thank you to this reddit for being so supportive. I've been lurking on here since early July and I just took my test today! I reserved my final day before the test for relaxing and I went into the exam with no expectations (even though I prayed to stop at 75), and took each question as it came.

Passed in 93 questions!

I have been waiting for this moment. A little background about me. I am an international nurse. I graduated nursing school 2010. I did not know if I wanted to pursue nursing but last year 2020, when the whole Covid thing was happening, I just felt that I needed to help. I started my journey in becoming a USRN.

Testing tomorrow, Tuesday

Just having major test anxiety. I am a second time test taker. First time in 2019. I let the fear of failing again hold me back for so long. I decided I was ready to try again. I studied for the last month as much as I could with three children - two of them under three. I used UWORLD, Spider-Man packet with videos, Mark K, and Simplenursing.

I think I passed with 100q! 2nd attempt!

1st attempt: I used Uworld and only uworld. I think that’s my first mistake… I relied too much on it and I didn’t really read the rationales. I kept getting 60-70% but I think it was Bc I was memorizing it rather than retaining the information. When I went to go test for it, I really wasn’t confident in any of my answers.

Stopped at 107! Passed on my 2nd attempt!

1st attempt I used Uworld and Mark K lectures but because Mark K lectures was just an audio and had no visual it was slightly harder to take in information personally and had more brand drug names rather than generic names. Some information was also outdated. I was not averaging on Uworld and was in the mid-high 40s.

Passed in 75Q with UWORLD and MARK K

Hey everyone! I want to share my experience to help alleviate any anxiety. I took my exam yesterday 9/25 and purchased UWORLD to study on 9/1. I graduated from my accelerated BSN on 8/13 and really took a few weeks to decompress and relax. For me, this really helped.
