Must I remove hard contacts 2 days before eye exam for glasses? (Myopia -9.75 & -10.25)

I wear hard contacts for correcting myopia (-9.75 & -10.25) and want to get a back up pair of glasses. These would be worn at the end of the day if my eyes are feeling tired or dry, but I still intend to wear my contacts each day.

I’m a regular glasses wearer but over the last few weeks my distance vision is a lot blurrier. Went to optometrist 3 weeks ago when the problem first started who said my vision is 20/20 with my current prescription and eye health seems good.
