Contractor lied to get access to the house
My home was involved in a fire and later a pipe failure. It is inhabitable now. Our insurance adjuster found us a contractor to work on the mitigation of the damage. Some part of the pipe damage has not yet been approved by the insurance so we were told not workers would come until that process is completed.

As you can see, ALL of the floors need to be replaced. The house got a new roof recently, but the ceilings are in bad shape from 20 years of leaks. There is mold in some of the walls and ceilings. Some rooms aren't so bad but others need to be completely gutted and redone.

As per the title, my city received a grant to switch ~219 homes in my neighborhood from septic to city sewer. They had us sign a general right of passage to do the work and we were told that everything will be made whole in the end (any landscaping destroyed, etc) once the project is complete.
