Great flavor
I was so glad to see Wal-Mart start carrying whole green chilies instead of the diced. They've had large cans of them, but this is just the right size for us. These are plump and very flavorful and not mushy like other brands. Great Value also. If you need chopped these actually taste better than already chopped green chilies.
Outstanding canned green chiles!
These chiles are DRAMATICALLY superior to the well-known brands of canned green chiles. They are plump, well roasted, cleaned. seeded, and very uniform. I am a competitive chili cook, and I prefer these chiles over other canned brands. I also enjoy these in at-home cooking.
Chilies
They are much easier to use than grilling fresh chilies and peeling them. We use them in salsa Pico de gio and green chili enchiladas.
Miss our Mizkan Chiles
We're from New Mexico and greatly miss our chiles to cook with. Previously bought these in store. Last time I had to order them online. Love the flavor of this brand, almost as good as the freshly picked and roasted ones from fields around our home in Dexter. NM. just tried to reorder and they aren't in stock. )-8 Don't know where to get them now.
