can corningware french white go in the oven

by Rylan Wolff Published 3 years ago Updated 3 years ago

This product is completely safe at 425 degrees. I spoke with a Corningware representative just to confirm that, and they said there isn't really a maximum temperature in terms of home use. Conventional home ovens don't get hot enough to break the material down according to the rep I spoke with.

Good product, but now thinner ceramics

Visually identical to earlier product (we are long-time fans and purchasers of CorningWare products), but the ceramics of this current set are now noticeably thinner and thus more prone to cracking (as noticed in one of the small bowls in the original delivery upon arrival and unpacking). ** Corelle replaced that defective bowl quickly.

Just as my first set I bought in 1975, the best there is

I bought the whole set because it included a dish that I had a lid for but had broken the dish. Nice to see that lids now fit my bowls from forty years ago , great job!

Skeptic to buy again because of broken product

Im only giving 3 stars because when i got the package the medium container is broken . There was a crack already and when i took out of the box its already cracked . Im so disappointed because its my first time to purchase corelle brand after we got hit by a fire in Paradise, Ca. So i dont know if i will still purchase again after my experience.

Great set

This set works well. The only problem was that the 7.5" plastic lid did not fit well. However, I had ordered a matching glass lid (wish the set had come with that!), which works fine. Since I didn't envision using the plastic lid anyway, I didn't bother to ask for an adjustment.

Classic. Versatile. Workhorse

French White pieces are work horses. They are versatile - useful for cooking, serving & storing. Classic appearance. Only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 stars is because this set didn't have the glass lid for the 1.5qt casserole. I already had a spare lid but other purchasers might not.

Great pans, half have no baking tops

I love the baking pans, but HATE that they come with with NO BAKING TOPS.. that means pollution using aluminum foil to bake when they should have had glass tops for baking. NOT everyone uses instapots. I wrote 3 times asking, got a confirmation that they got it , but NO REPLY
