Department stores like Sears no longer exist. If you go to Target or Walmart all the name brands sold there are these weird "midnight special" versions that are drastically lower quality than the normal ones. Last year I moved in with some friends. We all like to cook and that’s been fun. The kitchen became somewhat integrated, and I don’t mind. Or so I thought.
Didn't know black chickpeas existed. I found can ("Ceci neri della Murgia") in a discount store and made hummus with it. The taste is different but absolutely delicious. Does somebody know more about these black chickpeas? Are they a different variety or just toasted chickpeas? Many thanks
