The queen was vain and self-centered, always believing Andromeda more pretty than any woman in Greece, even the goddess Aphrodite. Hades even believed she was a foolish woman and aged her to old age as punishment. Her husband and daughter still loved Cassiopeia, and both were heart-broken when she passed on.
