If your unit was recently installed, it may take up to 24 hours for each compartment to reach the desired temperature and for the ice maker to begin making ice.
Set the temperature
The freezer must maintain an internal temperature below 19°F. The minimum recommended temperature on the unit's control panel for ice production is -4°F (-20°C). If the freezer temperature is set at a warmer temperature, then ice will be produced at a slower rate.
Inspect water supply
Ensure that the water line is connected. Sometimes when the unit is pushed back into its place, recently moved or installed, the water line gets disconnected, kinked or pinched.
Turn ON and RESET the icemaker
In order for the ice maker to make ice, the ice maker must first be turned ON. If the icemaker is ON but the unit is not producing ice, try to reset the icemaker.
