It's in the distributor. There is 2 connectors on the outside of the distributor to it. Make sure they are both connected before replacing parts. The gear on the distributor wears out too.

It should be on the outside by the firewall, where your heater by-pass hoses go...coming from the waterpump just follow them back.....and you should see a black, three way, or maybe two way hose connector...Goodluck...
