Where can you load money on a one card?
Answer. Students can deposit cash onto their OneCard using the VTS Machine located in the AIRC Computer Lab 2004. The VTS machine only excepts cash and does not provide change. Cash deposits at any VTS Machine will be available immediately in your account.

How to pick up a OneCard?
To pick up your OneCard in person you should bring government issued photo identification with you. A valid driver's license, state ID or passport are acceptable forms of photo identification. Participate in online freshmen, transfer or graduate student orientation or new employee/faculty orientation.

Pay by entry using a OneCard – load money onto your OneCard to get the student discounted rate for parking. The is the preferred method if you are here 1-3 days a week and do not need to leave and re-enter the parking structure multiple times during the day. When you get to campus you would swipe in the OneCard debit reader to enter and exit the structure.
What to do if your OneCard is lost?
If your OneCard is lost, go to Academica immediately and deactivate your OneCard. If you cannot get online, call the OneCard/Parking Service Center at 313-577-CARD during business hours and a representative will deactivate your card.

Some of the more common reasons are: Your OneCard is bent or cracked. The magnetic stripe on your OneCard is scratched. The magnetic stripe on your OneCard has become demagnetized. There isn't any money in your OneCard account. Your OneCard has expired.
How to get a handicapped parking pass at Wayne State University?
Students with disabilities who require a parking pass for the fall semester should email a copy of their class schedule and their handicapped parking placard to onecard@wayne.edu. Based on this information the staff will determine the amount of your pass and will email the information to the student. The amount of the pass will need to be deposited onto the student's OneCard so that we can manually deduct it, sell the pass, and send a confirmation email. For those who are new to the parking program, the RFID tag will be mailed out.
How to replace a lost OneCard?
If your OneCard is lost or stolen, go to Academica and log into your OneCard account to immediately deactivate your card. There is a $20 replacement card fee to replace a lost/stolen OneCard. Deposit $20 into your OneCard account using a Credit or Debit card. Email onecard@wayne.edu to let us know that you have lost your card and have placed the fee into your OneCard account. In the email include the address where you would like us to mail your replacement OneCard. We will then deduct the money and print and mail the card. Or, you may come in during our office hours to get the card. If you do not use a credit card to deposit funds onto your onecard you can pay at the Cashier's office by cash, check or money order.
How to get a refund from Wayne State University?
Refunds can be issued to a cardholder whose account has a remaining balance of greater than $15 (there is a $15.00 administrative fee to close an account) at the time the request is submitted. To be reimbursed, complete the Account Cancellation Form and return it to the OneCard & Parking Service Center, 257 Welcome Center. The OneCard MUST be turned in to the OneCard and Parking Service Center in order for the form to be processed. Please note that it will take four to six weeks to process refunds. Where to submit a refund request for OneCard?
Cardholders who are disputing particular transactions or charges made to their account or who seek a refund for parking, washer/dryer usage, printing/copying, vending, food, or other purchases made with the OneCard should submit the Refund Request Form and any supporting documentation to the OneCard and Parking Service Center , 257 Welcome Center. Requests for refunds are not guaranteed and will be based upon the documentation submitted and an investigation by service center staff. Adding funds to the OneCard
You can deposit money online to your WSU OneCard account via a credit card (Visa, MasterCard), at a OneCard Cash Deposit Machine, or by check at the OneCard/Parking Service Center, located in the Welcome Center, Room 257. Funds deposited online at Academica and at a OneCard Cash Deposit Machine are generally available within 15-30 minutes.
Finding open general parking areas
General parking facilities are on a first-come, first-served basis. Structures tend to fill general parking spaces and it can take time to look for an open facility. Wayne State Parking and Transportation has a system that will show which facilities are open, full and how many spaces remain.
