Why is Bendy a devil?
My headcanon is that in the cartoons he's a little devil who's not evil enough to belong in Hell, so he was kicked upstairs to where he could do some mischief. As for the Bendy that attacks us, my headcanon is that it's a malevolent spirit that has taken the (approximate) form of the cartoon demon in order to feed on the cultish belief within the studio.
