Thank you ladies, it will all be fine. I was going to go on my own for the Biopsy. At this appiontment, do you think the hospital would give any further indication as to what they think the mass is? If I thought there was a chance that they could say something worrying I would probably rethink this and take my husband.

Okay I know it is easy to say and hard to do, but try to keep calm, they are being thorough which is good but does not mean that it will be breast cancer.

I have been to the clinic and had a mammogram on each breast which was repeated again in one breast. Then an ultrasound. I have to go back Thursday for a biopsy. I am scared and not looking forward to having to wait for the results which could be after Easter.

My appointment was in the afternoon, which was after a recall from a routine mammogram, I had a another mammogram, then ultrasound and a biopsy. I think the whole thing took an hour, I had my friend with me.

I have no lump but I've also got a dimple underneath my breast which wasn't there until about 6 months ago. I could only see it in my bathroom mirror in the evening when the light was on. I just thought it was cellulite because I couldn't seem to see it any other mirror.

Hello! I have posted once before with great response and am back yet with another question. To give history, I am 34 years old, breastfed my last child for 26 months (first child for 22). I was normally a C cup and swelled to a DD/E while nursing. I gradually in about 4-6 months got back to a C cup after I stopped nursing.

So I never usually get changed in front of a mirror but check for lumps and bumps when in the shower. Due to decorating I was in bathroom last week getting changed in front of the mirror when I noticed my right breast had a lovely indent about the size of a 50p under my nipple and my nipple is turning slightly downwards.
