Ok, some time ago (can’t find the thread) someone posted how to make rings from an empty toilet paper roll. Cut apx .5’ to .75” wide and taped into given internal diameters, IE 5.00”, 5.25”, 5.50” excetera.

I measured, and have always measured them at 5.5 and the actual roll is so thin that I doubt you’re going to get the .25 difference between the inside and outer diameter that you talk about….if that was the case that would mean the roll is almost a quarter of an inch thick!
