Its quite possible that is also a difference.. I never read the labels.. lol But I used it for years and prefered the hp when i asked the difference from supplier they told me it was how much of the perlite mixture vs vermiculite.. then again they coulda just told me what they thought and didn't know either..

BX is for when you need a little more moisture management. Like when you want to go away on vacation. It will hold moisture longer than HP.

Is Clonex better than Olivia?
Clonex is great but Olivia's is cheaper and works just as well. I have both and the clones that DO NOT root after about 2 weeks with olivia, if I care, will get a coat of clonex and be re-rockwooled. Hell, plain water and some light veg juice will root a plant but I am sure you need more consistant results.
