I am trying to better secure our servers, and I was hoping to use the security groups that are built in to Windows 2008 servers. One in particular that looked promising is this Print Operators group.

So since, for whatever reason, the Print Operators group is essentially useless, we had to find another way to get the functionality that we wanted.

Stopping and starting the spooler is an admin task. A user in Print Operators group would never have this access.
