We are dynamic beings, as is all life, and this dynamic exchange is the core of the health continuum. So whether you are doing relatively well right now, or are plagued by some condition, you can still always make a difference in the quality of your life. This is where things like the right nourishment for your body, mind and spirit, can provide amazing support for achieving complete optimal health.
Is health constant throughout life?

It all depends on how you engage all 5 areas of your health at any given time. At the same time, engaging in poor habits today does not mean that you are scarred for life. Your health is dynamic, your body is resilient, and your mind is malleable. The optimal health that you can create at any given time will come from a consistent application and attention to all 5 areas of your health.

Residential treatment, also referred to as in-patient treatment, is considered the next level on the spectrum. Typically thought of as the “traditional 30-day rehab,” lengths of stay can actually vary from two weeks to up to a year. Even within residential treatment, one could say there is a spectrum of treatment as well.

Normalising the continuum mentality
I’m currently experiencing one of these darker moments in time. I suppose I should come up with a cool name for it. It is due to my state of mind. Within my mind, I create my reality and although I’m struggling currently I know that this is often the starting point for some new and fresh to emerge. Or maybe it’s part of the cycle.
Letting go of the old paradigms
We live in a world where we have been taught to do (work), have (material) and we’ll be (happy or even ‘mentally well’). So when the first bit of this cycle gets interrupted, it messes everything up. This sequence of behaviour (for a lack of a better word) is where I believe the problem lies.
The box culture
It is amazing how much security people find when fitting into a box. Connecting the dots to find the breathe
We all crave connection. Yes all of us. On different levels and in different ways. Yet it is a human default. We just don’t always know how to connect with some people and therefore we give them a label. Once again just to affirm that ‘I’ am right and ‘you are different’.
