How many hours does Target pay?
Though Target offer a nice $15/hour rate , you will struggle to work more than 25 hours a week outside of the holiday season. Even during the holidays, your hours will NOT be consistent, and you will be expected to be available 24/7 if you want hours. Hard work and professionalism will not get you more hours.
Great coworkers, but horrible management
It's a good job if you still live with a caregiver. Alone though, it's not worth it. The pay is too low no matter what they say and management is multi-tasking so hard that they will forget who you even are or what you can do. You will be trained to do most departments in the store or you will get less hours.
Great Coworkers. Hours can be hard to come by
The starting pay is higher than most retail options. Some positions are better than others. I would recommend getting into specialty sales such as technology. Workload expectations can seem unrealistic and overwhelming. I ended up leaving as hours were cut at the start of the pandemic.
Fun if you make it fun
Every day isn't the same but I enjoy that. The workload is fast and you are on your feet all day. The pay and amount of hours that I currently have are perfect for someone that is in school.
Rewarding, but only for you
As a large company you shouldn't expect to be noticed unless you're working in management. As a trooper there's plenty of work to be done but it depends on how the culture is like. There was a point where I working for the sake of my co-workers and myself. Leadership was subpar and it was clear where their priorities were.
Seasonal Tech
Target on the whole is a very respectable organization and a very good work experience for people from all walks of life. As a seasonal worker we we’re given holiday pay and a consistent schedule for a retail position. I would recommend for any student or any person making a career transition to consider Target.
Productive
I enjoyed Target, met some great people and had some great supervisors. I would refer anyone to join the Target employment team, I have nothing bad to say about Target
Keeps you on your feet majority of time
Always something to do. I learned how to do cell phone activations. co workers are pretty chill. Some managers are a lot cooler than others. Work days are pretty straight forward.
