FACTS projects relate to three topic areas:
- People – to understand and promote your role as a driver or passenger and keep yourself and others safe
- Vehicles – to understand vehicle safety and the role it plays in safety for you and others
- Roads – to understand and promote your role on the road as well as the safety hazards you may encounter and how to avoid or react to them

What states and territories are associated with Fccla? FCCLA is active in all 50 state associations plus the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. There is one state FCCLA adviser per state /territory.

What does a symbol of a star stand for?
There are several symbols representing the union of opposites, including:
- The conjoined symbols of Venus and Mercury in the center of the image
- The sun and moon symbols to the right and left of the Venus/Mercury symbol
- The alpha and omega symbols above and below the Venus/Mercury symbol
- The caduceus, which is below the Venus/Mercury symbol and partially within the omega
What are the 4 levels to star events Fccla?
Level 1 - Members through grade 8. Level 2 - Members in grades 9 and 10. Level 3 - Members in grades 11 and 12. Level 4 - Postsecondary members.

What is the National Program stand up?
The FCCLA Stand Up national peer education program guides members to develop, plan, carry out, and evaluate advocacy activities to improve the quality of life in their communities. Members develop their voice to make a positive impact.
What does the color red mean in the FCCLA?
Red suggests strength, courage, and determination, personal qualities leading to happiness through a positive self-image. White symbolizes sincerity of purpose and integrity of action, qualities that will help individuals build a better tomorrow.
What is Star event?
Students Taking Action with Recognition (STAR) Events are Competitive Events in which members compete at the region/district, state, and national level and are recognized for proficiency and achievement in chapter and individual projects, leadership skills, and career preparation.
