Some of the more frequent tasks you will perform include:

  • Driving to assigned locations in your personal vehicle (we'll provide mileage reimbursement while you're on the clock)
  • Check-in and out with manager on duty
  • Merchandising cases from the back room to the sales floor, filling display units or shelves with products such as Doritos, Classic Lays, Tostitos, Smartfood Popcorn, etc.

As a Detailer, you will drive your personal vehicle to a variety of store locations, retrieving Frito-Lay products from the backs of stores, and ensuring that our products are both fresh and attractive to our customers.Apr 14, 2020

Easy job, pay is low

This job is really easy but physical and the pay is low compared to other companies. Overall a good experience, just wish they’d increase the wages. I worked weekend mornings and the start time was flexible, so that was nice. You basically just stock the shelves until you’re done with your route, then you go home.

Amazing place to work! The management was always there to help and give advice when needed

Culture is great and the management allowed me to learn skills to take with me after graduating. I encourage all to work here. Cons long hours and did not get a lot of vacation approved after working for many months.

Not a bad job but needs employees

Been working for this company for a while. The work itself is very easy go to a store stock chips and go to the next store, Repeat rinse and server. The issues I have is that my manager ignored my availability and I have been stuck working Sundays ever since I started.

You work on ypur own, so no one breatging down your neck

Management is awful. Lack of communication . There is NO communication from Management. Constantly changing your routes. My route was changed after a year. Completely for NO reason and the changes were impossible for me to do with having family responsibilities. I went from 2, 10 hour days, to 6 3 hour days. No thank you

Simple work, good managers

I was a retailer for Frito-Lay and while my job seemed small on the long list of positions at Frito but managers were great to let me know I was important. They were great about time off snd family work life balance. However, I will say they were very last minute about needing help.

Overall a solid job with a solid company

The district manager worked with my schedule well, and I had a amazing training for being a detailer. Pay was solid for being part-time. I only had one location/grocery store on my regular schedule, but it can be difficult when you get in a time crunch when you have to do multiple stores in a day.

Liked working there

I was a detailer for frito lay the job involved driving and bending and light lifting overall it was a good place to work. If you don't like driving do not work here.

Great Job With Almost No Boss..

Working for Frito Lay was so cool for me. Frito Lay was very nice to me when it came to flexibility. Payed for my mileage. Payed for the time I inputted. No boss over your shoulder all the time. Boss comes sometimes to engage and help you with your day. Wake up early in the morning most likely at 3:00 a.m. And leave by the afternoon.

It is a stepping stone

It is very great for people who are in school and need a job and extra money. You will meet alot of people and it can overall be a fun job if you make it.

Great company

Great company,I worked as a part time detailer and enjoyed the job,I drove my own car and got paid every week a paycheck and also quarterly I received a mileage check for driving my car to various stores to replenish all Frito Lay'S products.

Poor management

Management sucks and if You get hurt which will likely happen they'll throw you out fast. I was looking at a promotion and raise when I got hurt and my hours were cut from 60 a week to 4 according to my manager because of "the natural flow of the business" not because of my injury.

Good company

Good pay and benefits. Depending on your position your hours can fluctuate a lot. I was a Detailer working anywhere from 15-35 hours a week. Solid job if your in school.

An a Okay Place to Work

Over all it is well place to work, but raises are needed , not only because you moved up from position. Management is flexible with your request days off and appreciate your work.
