Old manager was bad

The store had outdated food and safety, outdated sales tax, black mold, and a terrible gm to top it. The employees weren't too bad, nor was the work. I know that there is a new GM now that hopefully should have turned it around.

Really wasn't a good place to work

Pizza hut has an out dated system or at least the one in Yorktown VA does. The credit card machine doesn't prompt for tips and making under ten is barely worth a teenagers time. Also why would a customer tip if we aren't waiting on them. Customers don't feel the need to tip the team at some of these restaurants.

Fun workplace and helpful manager

Company doesn't pay well with all the things that you do for them and the job is overwhelming for everyone. Always short staffed and to many customers.

Good for an Entry level job

The people are what make pizza hut an amazing place to work at. i love the people i work with. the environment isnt the best but hey its a job, its not unbearable.

Fast paced, not too bad

Working as a team member at Pizza Hut Delivery can be fast paced (this all depends on the day and hour). It can be stressful for a new starter but soon you get used to it and it’s not bad. The job itself has a few duties like preparing food, making food, cleaning and customer service so it isn’t very boring.

Fun apart from one person

One of the managers didn't really like me which eventually resulted in my resignation. Other than that I enjoyed working there and made lots of good friends.

Managers are butt buddy and they don't care about you, be expected for the mangers to sit down and have you do most of the work

Don't work here it was a terrible experience and got paid bad, the managers are the laziest people I have ever met, especially the upper ones. Go work at dominoes if you need to work at a pizza place

no room for growth

From the start, the training I received was from an employee who wasn't even considered a trainer. I did not receive the training I deserved and still had a lot of questions when I started the job. There was no desire from management to teach employees to grow.

Only for high schoolers

This job is not something I would keep long term. Coworkers stealing tips and the pay is low enough as is. Not a very difficult job, but definitely not a great one.

this is the worst job. HIGHLY dont recommend

the workers give out free food and they don’t clean the dishes correctly. they use a molded box to dry the dishes and they are very stingy when it comes to payment. they use the same gloves for pizzas and they use them for veggie pizzas. the water they mop the floors with are never clean and they eat the food as well.

Favorites

Seems like they pick favorites and give more hours to those.. some of the people I worked with got paid more because they were a friend of the manager..

Overall was a great place to work. Lovely coworkers and managers and a fun environment

The days were long and more times than not, incredibly stressful, but the people there make it so much better. You instantly feel like you are apart of a family and management will always help you and give opportunities for you to grow fast.

Fun place to work with bc of coworkers but management is not cool

Was ok. GM sucked. No good benefits. People were nice to work with but not much room for promotions. Always was stuck picking up the slack of the other two managers.

No raises, no advancement

I worked there for over a year and never got a raise despite being told that I would get 10 cents per part of the kitchen I learned. Liked my coworkers and manager though. Definitely don’t recommend if you can find somewhere that pays more than minimum wage.

Money-hungry capitalistic hellscape

This company cares more about cutting corners to meet the budget than ensuring the safety and well-being of its employees. Refuses to pay competitively, or base compensation off of local cost of living. Employees are expected to work 12-15 hour shifts, often alone in the restaurant, with no help from higher level management.

Good starter job

Sadly this isn’t just the location’s issue but many pizza huts are still at the same pay for their employees which is $7.25 an hour. Most places like Dominos offer $10-$13 if I’m not mistaken. It makes me a bit mad that although we’re a popular pizza place we don’t get what we deserve in pay rate.

Fun workplace at times

It was a good starter job as a teenager, but it gets repetitive fast. Customers will not respect you and be extremely rude, your boss will be on you to work every second.
