This lawn was installed (sod) in December 2013. Horsetail Fescue, coastal Delaware. I fertilized with alfalfa pellets last spring and fall, and it looked great. This year, there are dark green "spots" throughout the entire lawn, on all four sides of the house.

We live in a development where, in the last year, I have not seen a single outdoor cat, and no unleashed dogs either. No mushrooms, as well. Weird. I have purchased more alfalfa pellets to broadcast (by hand) and will avoid these areas but with all of the fancy-pants manicured yards nearby I am a little embarassed... ;)
