My vicks vaporizer makes a gurgling/bubbling noise but the water isn't even hot so is that normal? What can I do to fix it? if possible try and check the lines or hoses that run from the wat er supply to the point where the steam comes out. Humidifier creates film on everything in the room it is in
the white film is just dust particles from the unit. it's also a bit of condensation that is building up. the particles are not harmful. but it's nice to keep it clean after every use. also the film is coming from the vicks. that is normal. so nothing worry about as far as harming the childs air or anything.

you have to open the lid to the scent pad heater tray. the vicks pads go inside of there. now if you touch them with your hands you need to immediately wash hands after. cause of the fumes will be very strong. then close unit and turn on and it should work properly
