Fast paced but slow enough to have no errs

I love the scheduling it's the purpose of choice. It's fast paced at times but another of factors play in keeping the on time deliveries. Driving your customers are the employees of the company.

Horrible pay and tons of vehicle wear and tear..

This company is one of the worst I've had the displeasure of working with. The compensation was about $90-100 per day, driving over 220 miles in the process. Don't work here!

Fit for ones who want supplemental income

If you are looking to make extra money for a couple bills or to take a trip then this may be for you. Everyone uses their own vehicle. Normal wear and tear such as oil changes, new tires, etc.

Be ready to make less than minimum wage

Title says half of it, after gas you end up making less than minimum wage after driving for 8 or more hours a day, management will threaten to let you go if you ever ask for more and will happily inform you when you will be getting a pay cut, during 2020 we had our pay cut twice to under 40/cents a mile.

Great job

Being a independent contractor/delivery driver for US Pack has been a wonderful experience. Routes typically start at 445am and some routes your done by 730am.

It could have been a good place to work, but the managements really sucks

Please don't waste your time with this company, because they're going use you like a rain water and disrespect you at the same time. The company shows no gratitude to those contractors who showed up everyday to do their work.

Need to re-evaluate the job descriptions

Upper management is a used car salesman pretending to be an ops manager with a poor demeanor and fake level of respect for employees. Our division was always treated poorly, not invited to company lunches had to attend meetings virtually while working no set lunch schedule, eat while working daily.

you work for yourself and theres no one micro managing you but there unorganized and dont care about there employees

you deliver parts or other items to companies on a planned route, i learned about car parts and that this compaany doesnt care about the ppl that work fot them. They will fire you and replace you in a second if you ever end up in problems during work

self-employed job

you have to use your own vehicle, a lot of tear and wear, consumables,a lot of fees and deductions, which results in little money in your pocket, poor management and coordination which cost you a lot of stress, strict rules, no vacation, no benefits.

Job security, always needs help

Mostly a good place. If you like driving all day everyday 6 days a week then this is for you. You must provide all of your own insurance and repairs.

It's always work available if you want to drive

If you have a route you got guaranteed weekly pay otherwise you have to do stats in order to make money and you have to be available 24/7 in order to make the maximum amount of money. I work seven days a week I'm on call all the time

Nice place to work for extra money

In terms of job security at USPack Logistics, I think you are a independent contractor so for the most part you will have a job. It’s just about getting a steady route if you want this to be full time.

Poor manGement, you must be a disciplined, self starter

Management covers a large geographic area. Not much time for assisting with day to day issues. Large turnover of qualified drivers. If you aren't a self starter, with the inclination and ability to deal with day to day issues, this job isn't for you.

Freight rite is a joke

horrible place to work they lie to you during interview about pay long useless process to get to work .pay per delivery is horrible barely any training . Warehouse and trucks are a disaster. Don't work for these guys in dayton ohio market..

No room for advancement

Pay is not what was offered. No room for advancement. Tickets and toll fees are your own responsibility, yet the company expects you to deliver blood work in a timely fashion.

Great

If you work hard and hustle you can make a great living and take care of your family with no problems. Work at your own pace. No boss to answer to just yourself

Companies have become cheap

Us Pack has people in place that are poor managers, can not regulate the job as said or be fair in payment of what your doing. I found a lot of unfairness. Everyone is treated differently, pay is not fair.

A business not a job

Don't play politics, don't take other peoples work. You can make as much money as you want. Be honest and real. Its not a job but a career. Save your money to pay your own taxes.

courier

I currently work here, I enjoy it very much. I do recommend them as an employer to work for, I drive my own vehicle, I am also in charge of the decision if I want to take a route or not.

Fun Job

Fun things on the job were getting to see different towns all the time. Unenjoyable things included waiting on the pharmacy's late time causing delay in start time and having to deal with lots of traffic daily.

Terrible management

The only good thing about this position is you get to drive and it's a 1099 position which I love. The job itself is easy but the pay is terrible compared to what you do.

I feel like the other contractors are supportive of each other as well as the management

My experience working at US PACK has been great! The pay is alright. I get $70/day for a 2 hr route picking up specimens from vet clinics and dropping them off at either the airport or the lab. I think the pay rate varies between $55-70/day. They offer benefits after a certain period of time.

Good job

This is a good 6-12 month job. Especially if you want to turn your car into cash. Like a payday loan or something.

Very flexible hours

Very flexible hours for stat drivers. Not enough runs and the runs didnt pay enough especially when adding the cost of fuel and time to do delivery and the wear and tear on your personal vehicle.
