You pick up your equipment from a rental location near your starting point, then drop it off at a different rental location near your destination. In-Town truck, trailer and/or towing rentals are for local moves or one-time deliveries. You pick up and drop off your equipment at the same rental location.

How many ways can a truck rental go?
There are two (Maximum 3) ways a truck rental can go. There is In-Town, One-Way, and Roundtrip. In-Town is a pretty basic rent-here return-here scenario. You are picking up the truck at the same location you are returning it to.
What to do if you rented a moving blanket?
If you rented (not purchased) moving blankets, appliance dolly, etc, make sure that the blankets are folded and stacked and all rental items are returned. Whoever's credit card was used should be the one to check for all items rented. Anything missing, that credit card will be charged.
Is it cheaper to do a round trip or in town?
Roundtrips are generally cheaper than equivalent In-Town rates for the same moves. Trailers run a little differently. They are In-Town or One-Way as well, but the change is with mileage rates: Trailers don’t have a mileage rate.
Is roundtrip a one way rental?
Roundtrip is an unusual thing and you should never count on Roundtrip pricing being available, but it essentially does an In-Town rental with a One-Way price structure, and is typically seen for situations like the upcoming college move season, where college cities will have a difficult time keeping trucks for everyone.
