i know just the thing for you. if you have intel display drivers installed. right click on your desktop, go to graphics properties, display, color settings and restore to default.

That's a problem with the VGA connection. Most likely the cable is dead. This happens because VGA uses an analog signal and if one of the connections for the three different colours isn't connected properly your screen simply turns into a different colour. I would replace your cable first.

Yup, we also have that in school on some computers it's the vga cable or the connection somewhere. Try unplugging it and plugging it in again ( works most of the time )

Probably... I have a HDMI cable but my monitor doesn't support HDMI so I'm gonna have to buy a HDMI to VGA adapter or a HDMI to DVI-D (Dual link) adapter.
