Pets that generate excessive noise will not be tolerated. The campground observes quiet time between the hours of 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM. During this time loud noise will not be tolerated. To prevent the spread of invasive species no outside firewood will be permitted in the campground.

All alcohol must be consumed on your campsite, you are prohibited from roaming the campground with open alcohol. As a family campground intoxicated guests will not be permitted entry.
Can dogs be allowed in Sandbanks?
Non-aggressive dogs and cats are permitted in the Sandbanks River Country Campground to a maximum of two pets. Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than 6' at all times. Campers are required to clean up after their pets. Pets that generate excessive noise will not be tolerated.
How many campsites are there in Sandbanks?
Sandbanks offers over 500 car campsites in five campground areas: Outlet River A & B, Cedars in the East Lake sector, Richardson’s in the West Lake sector and the Woodlands Campground located between East and West Lake sectors of the park.
How many people can you accommodate at Sandbanks?
Sandbanks has two group campsites that vary in size and can accommodate from 30 to 50 people. Water taps are nearby and vault toilets are on site. Outlet Beach is approximately 1 km away.
What is the difference between Outlet A and Outlet B?
A few sites offer electrical service. This is a busy campground with sites that are grouped relatively close together. Outlet B offers a bit more privacy with some sites along the Outlet River and a loop with electrical pull-through sites.
Is Woodlands Campground a sunny campground?
The Woodlands Campground offers both shady and sunny sites. Sunny sites are preferred by fall campers when temperatures are cooler. All sites in the Woodland Campground offer electrical service. Swimming, boating and the Visitor Centre are only a short distance away.
