Is Safelite good glass quality?
The company offers aftermarket replacement products with the exception of Safelite OEM glass. The Safelite glass quality is generally satisfactory, though. When it comes to OEM glass vs Safelite, you have better assurance of almost par Safelite windshield quality with the original glass, but not necessarily at 100%.

Will my insurance go up if I claim for a windshield?

What if it rains after windshield replacement?
Rain or water isn't an issue on newly replaced auto glass, so don't fret if there's forecast calls for a bit of downpour. In fact, a bit of moisture can actually help the adhesive cure faster.

Is a crack in a windshield covered by warranty?
A tech examined the crack which had circled through the dark area and out and then declared that the crack was due to a rock hitting the windshield and, therefore, it would not be covered under warranty. I certainly would have known if a rock had hit my windshield and that had not happened.
Is the windshield company good?
The company is great. They go above and beyond. Help you out to get windshield out in your car. They do good job. No leak after put in. They lot better than dealership to help you out when you need to come out. Fast service.
Does Safelite Autoglass have a mask?
I contacted Safelite AutoGlass to repair a chip on my car's front windshield. Everything was great except that the installer did not have on a mask and wore no gloves when clearly they stated that their technicians will wear a mask and gloves. I was very disappointed by that.
Great entry into the industry. Just don't drink the kool-aid
This company provides good entry leveling training for rookies interested in the auto glass industry. However the corporate and political nonsense the runs through management will drain your soul. Unless you are lucky enough to get placed at a good store with a caring manager your time here will likely be average at best.

Great starting out job, not great for career advancement
I worked for Safelite for just short of 4 years. It was a good job starting out where I previously lived in Florida, always busy especially in Orlando and job security wasn’t much of a concern there.
Cons
Breaks are not paid, very little vacation time, management plays favorites, very little room for promotions or advancement.
