Does Safelite give AAA discount?
Jan 13, 2012 · Safelite AutoGlass - 3/10/22 repair of windshield Safelite came to my place of business to repair a chip in my windshield. The Technician did a horrible job. The dimple is still in the windshield and the filler was smeared on the windshield. When it is raining at night the streak of the filler shows up on my windshield. Very distracting.

Do not use safelite. Ever
I wouldn’t recommend safelite to anyone! I needed my rear windshield replaced and decided to use safelite. They scheduled me on the following Monday to come replace the glass. They called me that Monday and said my glass didn’t come in and would have to reschedule.

I got lucky I went elsewhere
I got lucky. Safelite kept changing the estimate and it was just below my deductible. The wait was long. I went to a five star rated local father and son. It was less than half the price (Allegro in Aurora) Not fancy but good people and good price. Poor but proud.
Small chip repair and full windshield replacement
I had a small chip repaired in order to prevent the windshield from cracking. Less than a year later, the small chip cracked across my entire windshield. In order to replace the now cracked windshield, Safelite wanted to charge me double what I was able to find locally. I recommend considering local options before working with Safelite.
Bad communication
I made a appointment 2 weeks ahead of time. In order to replace my Windshield in my 2021 Subaru Ascent. They Called me 30 Minutes ahead of the 10:00 Appointment time to tell me the parts were not in. I had driven 1.5 hours to be there by 10:00 and was sitting down the street drinking coffee so I would not be late.
They did a crummy job!
The windshield on my car was replaced by Safelite AutoGlass several months back and I've finally decided to get around to writing a review because the current situation has continued to eat at me.
Scammers
When you call, no matter what you call about, they tell you go online and the recording hangs up. You get online and you can't look anything up. You have to make an appointment and not know if you have to pay for a warranty issue or not.

Safelite AutoGlass - Windshield crack repair
Tech came to repair my windshield chip, the machine broke and could not do the repair, told him that my concern that the windshield would crack. He assured me that it would not crack. Next day the window cracked. Called and they told me that he should not tell me that. Safelite offered me a discount. Not fair in my opinion.

Safelite AutoGlass - False warranty, predatory practices
On December 20, 2021, I brought my vehicle to my local Safelite Autoglass (Columbia, MO) for a warranty repair on a windshield they previously replaced in November, 2019. Safelite advertises a "Nationwide LIfetime Warranty" which sounds fantastic, however, that's where their service ends.
Safelite AutoGlass - All day drop off
Went to Colorado Springs location on aeroplaza was quoted $400 for a window replacement. Granted I was 10min late for an all day appointment. She didn't want to take my car and tried to reschedule me for next Saturday. My issue is if it was an insurance claim they were going to take it in the same day.
Safelite AutoGlass - Ignored in waiting room
Went in & a female receptionist was on the phone so I sat & politely waited. After a bit she got up & went in the back without addressing me. Was back there awhile came out, sat down & back on the phone. Eventually a man came out & sat down glancing at me.
Safelite AutoGlass - Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service Safelite incorrectly installed a windshield on my jeep as it was out of center and there were leak issues.
