No outside food, beverages or coolers are permitted to be brought onto the grounds of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. However, exceptions are made for Guests with special dietary needs to include food allergies and baby food/formula. Guests with special dietary needs should print and complete the Visitor Allergen Card and present it at the Customer Service Window at the front gate when they arrive at the Faire for approval to bring in special dietary foods for the individual only. The Visitor Allergen Card will be put on file at the First Aid Station.

Since then, you may have seen her as a Siren, a French Queen, a notoriously forgetful Scottish musician, or any of the myriad characters she's played in our Mansion shows. She's ecstatic to bring such a powerful figure to life, and even more excited to not have to open doors for herself all season!
Is the Dog Friendly Faire only for dogs?
There are some simple steps to take before visiting with your furry friend. Dog Friendly Faire tickets and policies apply to dogs only. No other animals will be admitted. (Our Dog Friendly Faire program does not apply to any other Mount Hope Events and is valid only for the Renaissance Faire, running August-October.)

Once upon a time in Merriwick, a land far, far away, there ruled a beautiful and strong Queen. She loved the fairytales told to her as a child and sought to bring those characters to life. So, once a year, she held a huge celebration in the town, and all were invited.
August 20th – 21st – Across the Multiverse
For our closing weekend, it’s been foretold that there will be a great gathering of adventurers –travelers from across time & space — in Merriwick of ALL places! We won’t just be celebrating time travelers, but also, the world of science-fiction. Come dressed as your favorite character inspired from any sci-fi book, movie, TV show, story or comic!
