Do you have to dress up for a Ren Faire?

It's totally not necessary to dress up at all. Also know that you can if you want to, and that you don't have to go all out or be period-accurate. The most important thing is to be comfortable and dressed for the weather (which, since our faire runs in July, can be HOT).

Can you bring food to the Renaissance Faire?

No outside food, beverages or coolers are permitted to be brought onto the grounds of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. However, exceptions are made for Guests with special dietary needs to include food allergies and baby food/formula. Guests with special dietary needs should print and complete the Visitor Allergen Card and present it at the Customer Service Window at the front gate when they arrive at the Faire for approval to bring in special dietary foods for the individual only. The Visitor Allergen Card will be put on file at the First Aid Station.

Foods & Ales

All Food and Beverages will be served from the Taproom located between the Swashbuckler Brewery and Mount Hope Winery.

Awards

This is a show & shine event. Specialty awards will be given to the ten best air cooled and ten best water cooled vehicles. Also, HAVOC President's Choice, Sponsor's Choice over-all award, and Kid's Choice will be given. Parking on show field will be separated into Air Cooled & Water Cooled for ease of judging.

Kid's Program

VolksFest encourages the next generation of VW lovers to participate in some unique events to include taking part in a scavenger hunt, Kid's Choice Award, and more!

Policies

Positively NO ALCOHOL OR GRILLS permitted. Trash receptacles are provided at various locations. HAVOC is not responsible for damages, lost or stolen property, accidents or injuries. The exhibitor or vendor is responsible for all insurances. Leashed, curbed, well behaved dogs are permitted on the grounds.
