It comes with a very nice plastic protective holder to protect it from damage. It also has a flexible comfortable tip. Five stars.
Simple to Use - Great Product
Simple to Use and so far a great product. You hit the blue start button, put it in mouth and eight seonds later it beeps. Seems to be a good product but there is not too much that can go wrong with a therometer. It either works or it don't. It's beem working when we use it.

I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this about two years ago; one for myself and one for my Mom for Christmas. What a great surprise it's been-- in all the best ways. As one reviewer pointed out, it glows either green for your okay, or red for RED ALERT! RED ALERT! You've got a fever.
Confused
I have an infection and am on antibiotics. When I feel feverish, I use this oral thermometer and it reads normal or cooler than normal. I guess i must have the blood of a reptile. Otherwise, a user turns on the thermometer, sticks it in mouth with or without cover, it ticks down and then turns green or red when done. Red signifies fever.
