How much is the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire?

Do you have to dress up for a Renaissance Faire?
It's totally not necessary to dress up at all. Also know that you can if you want to, and that you don't have to go all out or be period-accurate. The most important thing is to be comfortable and dressed for the weather (which, since our faire runs in July, can be HOT).
What should I bring to Ren Faire?
Bring money (cash or credit) for shopping. Believe it or not, you can definitely get some retail therapy at a Renaissance Fair. There are lots of specialty vendors, some of the most common include: Clothing and Weaponry, Jewelry (especially hand-made pewter goods), traditional Toys, etc.
Can you bring a sword to a Ren Faire?
We recommend you leave unnecessary articles in your car and secure valuables in your trunk. Restricted Items: The following items are not allowed at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire: Firearms, knives, razor blades, weapons or objects of any kind capable of causing harm are strictly forbidden.
What do you wear to a Renaissance fair?
To look authentic you need something upon your head. For women, you'll want a headdress, wreath or bonnet. If you don't have one, you can always buy one at the fair. For men, headwear includes muffin caps, flat caps, felt hats, and straw hats.
Are dogs allowed at the PA Renaissance Faire?
The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire will be held on weekends from August 3 through October 27. The entry fee is $5 for advance bookings and $10 on the event day. Dog passes must be purchased and required forms submitted 10 business days prior to your visit.
