Most are crushed with a roller mill, however, some are crushed with a traditional Tahona to extract the agave juice. The juice is then fermented separately for three days and blended back together for distillation. The fermented juice or “Mosta” is then distilled in copper pot stills and aged in oak barrels. After aging, the tequila is blended to create Patron silver, reposado, anejo, and extra Anejo and bottled accordingly.
