Does enlarge person work with massive weapons?
Massive Weapons (Ex) only reduces the penalty, it does not let you use weapons that are too large to wield (IE: large two-handed weapons). If you have a wizard in your party just get him to cast Enlarge Person... Every encounter.. Or get him a wand of it instead

A weapon or objects size is a category. Anything that falls within X and Y is of that specific size for how hard it is to handle or wield and so on. A lot of these are abstractions.

The only way that +1 size category = doubled weight works is if you're proportionally increasing one dimension (length) significantly more than the others.

So you can have 2 size increases. One in which the weapon is "treated" as one size category larger and another which is an actual size increase. The most common combination is "enlarge person" and "lead blades" spells, though it's a lot of prep unless you manages to pre-buff. You basically spend 2 rounds minimum doing nothing. If you can enlarge as a swift or move, then it is much more viable.

Turns out my dm ruled this growth will work as an enlarge person potion for the sake of simplicity although I personally believe it does not .
