What kind of weapons do Pathfinder Characters carry?
Most characters in Pathfinder carry weapons, ranging from mighty warhammers to graceful bows to even simple clubs. Full details on how you calculate the bonuses, modifiers, and penalties for attack rolls and damage rolls are given in Chapter 9, but they’re summarized here, followed by the rules for weapons and dozens of weapon choices.
What is a one handed weapon for a giant?
This means that what is a one-handed weapon for a large giant (such as the aforementioned large longsword) is a two-handed weapon for your standard human adventurer (still a medium object, which is two-handed for a creature of medium size) and gets a -2 penalty to hit (still a large weapon).
Can a small creature wield a two-handed weapon?
For example, a Small creature would wield a Medium one-handed weapon as a two-handed weapon. If a weapon's designation would be changed to something other than light, one-handed, or two-handed by this alteration, the creature can't wield the weapon at all.
Can a tiefling wield a weapon larger than you?
It has not been mentioned yet, but a Tiefling has an alternate racial trait that lets you wield weapons of a size category larger than you. It is on the list of 100 traits (mutations) a Tiefling might have. This is if your DM lets you choose one instead of rolling for it.
What happens if a medium creature throws a small dagger?
When a Medium creature tries to throw a Small dagger (let's assume you just killed a Goblin and took their weapon?) you're trying to use a weapon that's one size wrong for you. That means you'd be taking a -2 penalty when using.
Why do daggers go down one step?
In this case, one step down because the weapon is too small. A dagger is normally Light, and there is nothing that goes down one step. That means the weapon is simply too small for you to wield, so in this case you're not allowed to use it at all.
What does it mean when a shortsword is big?
That means you're taking a -4 penalty to attack rolls with it. Moving the designation of the weapon up two places, it goes from being light to being two-handed, so you can swing this massive shortsword in two hands, awkwardly.
What is a one handed weapon?
One-Handed: A one-handed weapon can be used in either the primary hand or the off hand. Add the wielder’s Strength bonus to damage rolls for melee attacks with a one-handed weapon if it’s used in the primary hand, or 1/2 his Strength bonus if it’s used in the off hand.

If a one-handed weapon is wielded with two hands during melee combat, add 1-1/2 times the character’s Strength bonus to damage rolls. Two-Handed: Two hands are required to use a two-handed melee weapon effectively.
What happens if a weapon is fragile?
Fragile: Weapons and armor with the fragile quality cannot take the beating that sturdier weapons can. A fragile weapon gains the broken condition if the wielder rolls a natural 1 on an attack roll with the weapon. If a fragile weapon is already broken, the roll of a natural 1 destroys it instead.
What is a melee weapon?
Melee weapons are used for making melee attacks, though some of them can be thrown as well. Ranged weapons are thrown weapons or projectile weapons that are not effective in melee.
What is masterwork weapon?
A masterwork weapon is a finely crafted version of a normal weapon. Wielding it provides a +1 enhancement bonus on attack rolls. You can’t add the masterwork quality to a weapon after it is created; it must be crafted as a masterwork weapon (see the Craft skill). The masterwork quality adds 300 gp to the cost of a normal weapon (or 6 gp to the cost of a single unit of ammunition). Adding the masterwork quality to a double weapon costs twice the normal increase (+600 gp).

The measure of how much effort it takes to use a weapon (whether the weapon is designated as a light, one-handed, or two-handed weapon for a particular wielder) is altered by one step for each size category of difference between the wielder’s size and the size of the creature for which the weapon was designed .
What is the difference between throwing a light and a two handed weapon?
Throwing a light or one-handed weapon is a standard action, while throwing a two-handed weapon is a full-round action. Regardless of the type of weapon, such an attack scores a threat only on a natural 20 and deals double damage on a critical hit. Such a weapon has a range increment of 10 feet.
Pathfinder Online shutting down
Well it looks like after about six years of not really taking off very well, the pathfinder online MMORPG will be shut down this year in November. I'm kinda sad it never really became as big as it could have, but I'm also not really surprised either when I look at the graphics and gameplay footage, it still looks alpha in some ways.

Why is Demilich so changed in its origin compared to D&D?
Here it's a lich who was astral projecting for a long time without returning to its phylactery which seemingly made the magic go bad. In D&D it was natural evolution of a lich into a greater being who did not need rest of the body.
